Overview
Mountain View Athletic Association (MVAA) Cheerleading is non-profit, volunteer lead organization offering recreational (sideline/football) cheerleading to youth in 1st-8th grades. We are a member organization of MVAA, Gwinnett Football League (GFL) and operate in partnership with Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation. While we primarily serve the Mountain View school cluster, we are open to all surrounding areas.
- Annual Registration begins mid-March and ends in May
- Pre-Season training begins mid-July with mandatory camps & clinics
- Season begins when school starts and officially ends mid-November
- Football games are played each Saturday at Gwinnett County parks
- Participate in GFL's Kim Massengill Cheer Off in October
- Our home is Rabbit Hill Park in Dacula, GA

GFL Registration & Documents
Once you register for MVAA Cheerleading, you must also register with GFL to be certified to cheer. To be fully registered and allowed to participate in GFL Cheerleading, the following must be completed:
- MVAA Online Registration
- 2025 GFL Physical Form - must use this form (PDF below - please keep a copy to turn in to MVAA Cheer also)
- Each child's Birth Certificate
- Proof of school grade
