Mountain View Athletic Association (MVAA) Cheerleading is non-profit, volunteer lead organization offering recreational (sideline/football) cheerleading to youth in 1st-8th grades. We are a member organization of MVAA, Gwinnett Football League (GFL) and operate in partnership with Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation. While we primarily serve the Mountain View school cluster, we are open to all surrounding areas.
MVAA Cheer uses the BAND app (free download) for communicating to our Bears family. Join us to stay in the know!

Once you register for MVAA Cheerleading, you must also register with GFL to be certified to cheer. To be fully registered and allowed to participate in GFL Cheerleading, the following must be completed:
In 2022, GFL moved to an online certification process with National Sports ID. Forms and documents previously turned into each association are required to be uploaded before any cheerleader may participate.
After completing online registration with MVAA Cheer on this site, visit National Sports ID (https://www.nationalsportsid.com/league/35700/gwinnett-football-and-cheer-league) to complete your 2024 Cheerleading registration. Below is a pdf with basic instructions for how to complete this process and upload your documentation for each cheerleader. Please note there is a $10 fee paid to National Sports ID (NSID) for each participant registered. Documentation must be uploaded no later than 7/17 to allow your child to participate in any physical activity, including camps and clinics, for the season.
